Stunning! every thought of a 2nd career, in photography??
ReplyDeleteThese are so beautiful. You all look great. And what a marvelous place -- I'm going to google it now. It's the closest I've seen to what we have on Martha's Vineyard. Love to you all...
ReplyDeleteGorgeous pix - you clearly have a good eye.
ReplyDeleteI see you're keeping excellent company, with Penelope Fitzgerald and George Orwell; then, a little further away, Benjamin Britten + Peter Pears and, of course, occasional writerly resident, Susan Hill. Did you get a chance to visit Maggi Hambling's controversial scallop?
Bonnes vacances!
Ha! T - I'd love to study photography - but then there again - its sooo expensive! Sue - how about we all take a house here for a week out of season, walk and write??
ReplyDeleteHi Mynne! Indeed, it is dripping with literary personages - and last feb I went to Aldeburgh, stayed in the garden of Britten's Red House, for two weeks reading space. Loved it! And the shell, in the wind, sings.
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful! This is the type of Christmas I'd prefer! If I see another panettone I think I'll fall off my chair. Best wishes for 2012, Catherine
